A yellow weather warning has been extended until 10pm this evening, for the whole of Devon.

Heavy rain was expected between Monday, April 9, at 10pm and Tuesday, April 10, at 10am. This has now been extended to between 3pm and 10pm today.

The Met Office said: “Heavy rain is expected during Monday night before easing on Tuesday morning” and we could expect “spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer”, “bus services probably affected with journey times taking longer”, “flooding of a few homes and business is likely” and “some interruption to power supplies and other services likely”.
