L SHAW, of Clarence Hill, Dartmouth, writes: I think the condition of the sole scrubbing grid in Dartmouth is an eloquent comment on the general state of affairs in the river: it is covered in weed, there is thick, black mud between the groins, there is no electricity or depth board and it is extremely expensive. All in all, a very poor advertisement for Dart Harbour.
