Award-winning company Coast and Country Cottages has launched a new ‘South Devon Walking Guide’ which is free for public download.
The guide features 14 detailed walks complete with maps, as well as articles containing advice from local experts and national organisations such as the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the National Farmers’ Union. The guide is designed to help walkers of all abilities so they can easily explore South Devon on foot.
The South Devon Area of Natural Beauty is home to a network of footpaths and bridleways, with over 190,808 steps of South West Coast Path, lined with sea and country views.
The ‘South Devon Walking Guide’ has been produced by the team at Coast and Country Cottages.
Director at Coast and Country Cottages, Karen Jones said: “We all love nothing more than spending our free time walking through the beautiful South Devon countryside.
“Many team members have dogs and young families, so we have used their knowledge and experience to enable us to create a fantastic comprehensive walking guide, filled with tried and tested routes and first-hand advice. We hope the guide is a useful tool for both those planning their holidays in South Devon, and for those living locally in search of some inspiration!”
Assistant Marketing Manager, Emily Mercer adds: “We are delighted to have launched the ‘South Devon Walking Guide’. It is testament to how much we, as a team, love the area we live in. We have an intimate knowledge of the region and have given honest input to help create what we believe is a useful, one-stop resource for those who enjoy walking.
“Whether you are a hardened rambler or a gentle stroller, exploring with a pushchair and toddlers in tow, or are simply looking to exercise your dog in stunning surroundings, there are routes for everyone.”
