A KINGSBRIDGE man has denied he assaulted a woman by beating.
Phillip Labrum, aged 61, of Stokenham has pleaded not guilty to the charge that he assaulted the woman between May 1 and 31. He faces another charge of assaulting the woman on July 25, causing her actual bodily harm at Dartmouth Golf club.
He is further charged with controlling and coercive behaviour,
He was remanded in custody and sent to the Crown Court for trial on August 31.
