Affinity Dance South Hams boogied their way through the Summer Showcase.

Dancers from across the South Hams, aged between three and 16 took to the stage at Kingsbridge Community College on Sunday, July 1.

The students from Affinity Dance South Hams showcased their talent to a large audience of family and friends.

Students from a number of local schools took part including Dartmouth Academy, Kingsbridge Community College, Stoke Fleming, Blackawton, St John the Baptist, Kingsbridge Primary, Malborough, Thurlestone, West Alvington and Aveton Gifford.

Principal of Affinity Dance South Hams, Faye Preston said: “I am incredibly proud of my students.

“They showcased their talents with such confidence on stage. It’s fantastic to see their progress from week to week across the different dance styles.”

A parent, Chloe said: “The wonderful confidence that these dance classes bring is proven in the end of term performance.

“A great achievement for such young children that really enjoy their time with Faye at Affinity Dance.”

Elvi, another proud parent said: “Wow, what a show. The children all did so brilliantly.

“Faye is such a kind and caring teacher, who gently brings out the best in the children and fills them with confidence in their ability to dance.”
