A car carrying four people has crashed and overturned in Kingsbridge – blocking Belle Hill in both directions.
It happened between Stumpy Post Cross and Fosse Road at about 8.50am.
Devon and Cornwall Police said only one car was involved and the occupants suffered minor injuries.
The road currently remains closed.
A force spokesperson said: “Police and paramedics were called at 8.50am on Tuesday, January 7, following a single-vehicle collision on Belle Hill in Kingsbridge.
“A car overturned and ended up on its side.
“All four occupants are out of the vehicle.
"They suffered minor injuries only.
“Belle Hill has closed both ways to allow for recovery work and the spillage of diesel between A381 (Stumpy Post Cross, Ledstone) and Fosse Road (Kingsbridge)."
