Eight Dartmouth Amateur Athletic Club members ran in the Royal Dartmouth Regatta Road Race, the hilly five-mile run organised by the Dartmouth AAC.
The race saw 160 runners taking part and with a strong field, the overall winner Ceri Rees completed the course in 28.03, just one second in front of second place.
First back for the club was Ian Thomas in 37.12, followed by Pete Knight (41.29), Chris Pillar (43.01), Rebecca Hodge (44.24), Tony Anderson (45.31), Jane Peters (46.58), Marie Jones (49.03) and Darren Bartholomew (50.57).
The winning female team on the day coming from Dartmouth’s very own Rebecca, Jane and Marie.
Rebecca was also the first woman back in the ladies’ veteran over 40 category, impressively some four-and-a-half minutes quicker than the first female veteran over 35.
