Last week's game was called off with a water logged pitch. Dartmouth was to play New Cross in a league game but the council deemed the pitch unplayable.

This week Dartmouth was down to play Devonport High School Old Boys, but the rearranged league game against New Cross will be played instead.

Steve Atkins will put out the same side he picked for last week's game with the welcome return of Martin Sharam, Dave Cudd, Richard Lobb and Luke Bridgwood to name a few.

Dartmouth will want to stamp their authority on the game fairly quickly on Saturday and get their first points in Devon One.

New Cross is a good technical side and will be hard to break down but with the return of key players, this game should be a bit tasty.

Damon Hunt of Nomad builders will be sponsoring the game. Damon has been a good sponsor for many years of DRFC and it's much appreciated.

After the game Alan and Pauline will be hosting both teams and everyone will be welcomed to The Seale Arms, DRFC's new clubhouse, for refreshments.

Dartmouth's past players have a reunion on October 27 at The Anzac Club (former Royal British Legion). 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are £5, which will include a buffet.

The past players are celebrating their 20 years as a committee and 60 years as Dartmouth Rugby Football Club.

Anyone who would like some tickets please phone Mrs M Sharam on 01803 833390.
