Dartmouth Rowing Club’s juniors continue to collect trophies this season as they added another four to the display cabinet. Last weekend saw the club compete at Appledore Regatta over a lumpy 1,000m course.

The WJ16 coxed quad consisting of Nancy Coombe, Lana Sharam, Ellie Langman, Nadine Smith and cox Lily Heaton stretched their West of England Championship lead to five points with a win over Bideford Blues and Bideford Reds.

Ellie Langman and Nadine Smith took their first doubles win jn the WJ16 double scull.

Torin Peel and Kian Gentry won MJ16 double scull with Josh Pichowski and James Wilson taking second. Olly Smith added another victory to his season in the MJ18 single sculls. The WJ14 coxed quad of Scarlett Luck, Lily Heaton, Eliza Wadeson, Nancy Coombe and cox Josh Pichowski gained a season’s best third to score their first championship point.

MJ16 coxed quad Torin Peel, Kian Gentry, Josh Pichowski and James Wilson rowed well to come home in third.

This weekend DARC head to Paignton, where club coaches will be hoping the junior rowers continue their impressive season.
