Dartmouth Golf Club ladies’ section

She couldn’t have asked for a better day, beautiful weather, fabulous course, great company and it all paid off as Mary Thompson won Tuesday’s Isabella May Trophy with a net 82, beating her playing partner Chris Mayer with a better back nine.

On the Dartmouth course five ladies competed for the Tamerisk Trophy, a stableford competition. It was unfortunate that the winner didn’t realise she had won and rushed off to get her hair styled at a nearby salon. Leaving the lad­ies celebrating Mary’s birthday with a cup of tea and slice of cake.

Never mind Ellie Mo­ses, you will have to collect your trophy on awards night, you never know there might be more!
