DARTMOUTH AFC were beaten 4-0 for a successive game, also making it four defeats on the spin in the Devon Football League.
Their season seems to be ending with something of a whimper as they drop to ninth following this latest loss.
Robbie Bowker’s men headed to third-placed Plymouth Marjon and conceded two goals either side of half-time as they were well beaten.
With Elmore FC beating rock-bottom Ipplepen Athletic, they jumped above Dartmouth, as did Budleigh Salterton thanks to a 4-0 win of their own away at Ottery St Mary.
Other DFL results this weekend included Appledore’s 7-0 thrashing of strugglers Bere Alston United, a 1-1 draw between Plymstock United and North Molton Sports Club and perhaps most importantly, a narrow 1-0 victory for Alphington over University of Exeter which sees the pair swap positions at the summit.
Dartmouth have only their previously postponed visit to Appledore to come.
