May saw members of Dartmouth Amateur Athletic Club travel around the area to participate in races.
In the evening of Saturday, May 12, three members of DAAC George Clarke, Ali McGrigor and Becca Hodge took part in the Ivybridge 10k.
It was great conditions for the annual race, which was George Clarke’s first race as a senior member. He was first home in a time of 44.40 and really enjoyed the race and experience.
Next home was Becca Hodge in 45.21, Ali McGrigor finished in 56.49.
On the morning of Sunday, May 13, Andrew Jarrold took on the hilly East Allington 10k, finishing it in 45.45.
A week later Becca Hodge travelled to Plymouth for the Plymouth Half Marathon. This course has the challenge of Saltram Hill in the middle of the course and then the uphill finish from the Barbican to the Hoe.
Becca finished in 1.46.05.
