Following the death of a Wellingtonia (Giant Redwood) tree, the team at Lukesland Gardens, Ivybridge decided to ask well-known chainsaw artist Dan Cordell to see what he could do with it.

The result is an amazing buzzard which looks very natural set against the Western Beacon, home of the real buzzards, by the large pond at the top of the garden.
