A Totnes man has been jailed for supplying drugs.

Max Ogilvie (31) has appeared at Exeter Crown Court where he was handed a 30-month prison sentence for drug supply offences.

Ogilvie's luck ran out on Seymour Road, Totnes on June 23 when he was spotted by an off-duty PCSO, who recognised him as wanted for other offences.

A subsequent search of his vehicle uncovered over £18,500 worth of heroin and cocaine destined for our streets.

A spokesperson said: “A thorough investigation by the Totnes Neighbourhood Officers ensured a robust case was built to secure today's conviction.

“Class A drugs ruin lives and cause harm across our communities.

“This case goes to show that whether our officers and PCSO's are on shift or off-duty, we are always keeping an eye out to keep Totnes safe.”
