CJ Moore of Swannaton Road, Dartmouth, writes:
With reference to Steve Peacock's report on the contretemps twixt South Hams planners and development boss Mr Pat Brownett regarding the future of of the old St.Johns Ambulance site, I think I have the answer.
Having studied the nature of the proposed structure in the photograph, aesthetically the heap of rubble is a winner.
I cannot imagine a more usuitable building being slapped in the middle of our beautiful town. Any new buildings should always be sympathetic to the existing architecture and in Dartmouth'0s case this modernistic nonsence just doesn't fit.
In the name of good sense please protect this town from developers.
