Rare deep-water berths are now available on the river at Noss on Dart’s new £3.5m floating marina.
The £3.5m floating marina is the first phase of the £75m redevelopment programme on the River Dart, offering 232 fully-serviced berths. And two 25-metre deep-water berths are now ready on D pontoon – on a run of pontoon measuring approximately 100m long.
General Manager Andy Osman said: "The floating marina was completed last summer and we’re delighted to now offer these deep-water berths which are extremely rare on the River Dart.”
Set on the sunny eastern bank of the River Dart, Noss on Dart marina has a brand new full-service boatyard facility including a hoist dock and new 75-tonne hoist for boat lifts - the largest on the river, with deep water access.
Boat owners also have access to self-storage units and expertise from a variety of marine service tenants. The construction of a new marina control building, including luxury berth holder facilities; launderette; and a small café, is now underway, and works on a boutique hotel, spa, and restaurant complex is expected to start later this year.
