Le Dumont d’Urville, a cruise ship named after a French explorer, is making two stops in Dartmouth this week.
The ship is bringing two sets of visitors to the town on Thursday, September 12, and Saturday, September 14, after a changeover in Honfleur, France, on the Friday between.
Brand new, the yacht was launched at the start of this summer and can host 184 guests at a time.
A mid-river mooring is planned for both visits, weather permitting, and if bad weather hits the vessel will be moored out by the castle.
