The Queen’s Green Canopy is an initiative in honour of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee to increase and protect the native tree cover. As part of this the Friends of Woodlands Park in Ivybridge ParkLife team are inviting people to get together for a community tree planting session on Saturday February 26.

Tools are provided but participants are asked to bring their own spade and work gloves.

The event is supported by South Hams District Council.

It’s underway tomorrow at Woodlands Park between 10am and 2pm.
