CHARLES MOORE-LEGGE, of Newcomen Road, Dartmouth, writes:

Devon County Council is at it again with a further round of parking restrictions in the town.

This time it appears we shall be losing more than 30 parking spaces – the thin end of the wedge, no doubt with more to come next year.

It seems the only growth industry in the town is the fixing of penalty warning notices to the windscreens of those unfortunates who transgress the county council’s parking regulations.

Therefore it would follow that the more parking spaces we lose, the more parking fines will be handed out to swell Devon County Council coffers.

Today is the final day to complain via the county’s website or by emailing [email protected].
