Those who have seen the front-page story ‘Festive despair for low-income Families’, Chronicle, November 25, will no doubt agree with me that it is harrowing reading, and this is happening right on our own doorstep. I shall invite furniture bank coordinator Dawn Shepherd to brief us and on how TCP can play a role in this.
Dartmouth is not the millionaires’ playground that some outside this community perceive it to be, but we have as a community group the right
to make comment and observations and try our best to support where we can those who are most in need.
