A DATE has still be to be set for an extraordinary general meeting to decide the fate of the Dartmouth Business Improvement District.

BID chairman Peter Conisbee told the Chronicle last week: ‘I am sorry to report that the EGM is taking longer to arrange than anticipated due to a number of logistical hurdles that need to be overcome, plus the fact that we lost four working days over Easter.

‘We are in the hands of our solicitors and South Hams District Council, but the plans are coming together and I hope that the voting papers will be mailed out next week, when all of the arrangements will become clear.’
