Residents have been looking skywards today as the police helicopter circled a South Hams town.
But there was nothing to worry about.
The helicopter was taking part in routine training exercise over Dodbrooke and the eastern half of Kingsbridge between 3pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, June 21.
A police spokesman said Kingsbridge-based officer PC Richard Loxton, a specially trained lost person search manager, was on board, learning how the helicopter is used to help search for missing people.
