The Met Office is warning motorists to take care on the roads today as a yellow warning for rain is in place until 7pm.

The weather centre states that there will be heavy rain leading to difficult driving conditions and possible disruption to transport

It warns drivers to expect spray and flooding on roads, probably making journey times longer; Bus and train services may be affected, with journey times taking longer.

The office also warns that flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.
