I am writing to you regarding Dartmouth Cool Recovery, a group of people with mental health issues and their carers, in reference to fundraising in Royal Avenue Gardens, Dartmouth.

We have been advised that organisations holding a fete in the gardens are unable to sub-let to other charitable organisations.

This seems unfair and does not encourage a good feeling of community spirit. These fetes have been a means of income for us. Also, they encourage our members to interact with the public and gives them a purpose and something to look forward to.

Most organisations do not have any concerns about us joining them non their fete days.

Let us hope the Royal Avenue Gardens subject can be resolved soon.
