Sincere thanks to the couple driving a BMW who rescued us at twilight near the Forces Tavern recently.

We were walking back from Totnes after a cruise up the river, assuming the buses ran beyond 7pm. Some hope!

We hitched and they turned around to collect us.

We were staying at Little Cotton camp site and we discovered the road was much too dangerous to walk back on.

We love Dartmouth and its lovely people.
