VETERANS gathered at the war memorial in Royal Avenue Gardens, Dartmouth, on Wednesday for a service followed by two minutes’ silence. Remembrance Day was also marked by civic dignitaries including the Mayor and Mayoress of Dartmouth Cllr Rob and Di Lyon, Captain Henry Duffy the Commanding officer of the Britannia Royal Naval College and Dartmouth air cadets. Prayers were said by Dartmouth curate Fr Nick Debney and BRNC chaplain the Rev Keith Robus.
