This year's Regatta was supremely busy and most enjoyable with good weather aiding the racing and displays.

The air displays were quite fantastic, especially the Red Arrows, the Sea Fury and the T.

However, the fair and street vendors were of such a poor quality that they degrade the Port of Dartmouth and Kingswear! Such a shame bringing louts and hoodlums onto our streets.

Also the changes to the layout of the tented village on Coronation Park left many traders in the 'new' side area well out of pocket! I heard every one of them bemoaning their plight.

The worst, however, was the Thursday firework display. This was placed, for the second year running, in such a poor position that none of us Kingswear residents on Brixham, lower contour and most of higher contour roads were able to view this display.

Last year the excuse was 'health and safety' but as the Saturday night display is by the boatfloat, this negates the argument.

Please can we reinstate the display to it's original home.
