L SHAW, of Clarence Hill, Dartmouth, writes: If we want changes and improvements to the river, we must again come together as a community, as we did in 2012 when we successfully stopped Devon Councy Council's unwanted pay-and-display meter scheme and, again last year, when we stopped the council altering our winter parking and yellow lines. Most regular river users would agree that the Dart is not currently a 'happy ship' and that changes need to be made. Please give your support to the Dart River Action Group – Drag.

SF LYNE, of Victoria Road, Dartmouth, writes: I am glad to see that there appears to be a newly-formed Dart River Action Group to represent the leisure boat owners on the river and the local community in general. Many of us feel we have lost control of our river – we would like it back, please. I am certainly supporting Drag and hope many others will follow suit.
