ROBERTA ROGERS, of Mayors Avenue, Dartmouth, writes:
Tosh... the fuss over the 'noise' from the George and Dragon tribute concert is to say the least insensitive. I live in close proximity to the event, and yes there was noise... but .... happy noise.
On reading the numerous letters from people who prefer to moan, may I suggest we concentrate on what we have in Dartmouth.
The privilege of living in a spectacular part of England, surrounded on the whole by a unique, friendly, caring community. Our own perfect park, shops and restaurants for our every need. Clubs and organisations to occupy our time. An informative and inspiring newspaper situated in a .... and picturesque market... and... the occasional 'noise'.
There are inconvenient noises that of squawking seagulls, of bottle banks and traffic and the 'noise' of music. Music organised by well meaning folk, to raise money for a good cause and bring foot tapping happiness to the populace.
So to those who choose to moan and complain, I suggest you look for the good in our town and not the negative.
