EILEEN NOAKES, of Seymour Court, Bridgetown, Totnes, writes:

The Government is now about to sell off our Royal Mail, along with the NHS and all the other public services they seem to believe they have a right to dispose of, when in fact they do not.

All these things belong to the people of this country.

These men are our servants, not our masters – they are paid by us and accountable to us.

They have not the remotest understanding of the meaning of democracy, but then of course nor do we, if we believe that we have one.
