I must take issue once again with MP?Sarah Wollaston’s deplorable lack of business sense following her recent tweet: “I’d vote for EEA/EFTA plus an effective customs arrangement because it would be the gentlest version of Brexit and least likely to crash our economy.”

This is stated as a fact without any facts to support it. The truth is nobody knows, just as asking where the £350m for the health service is, becomes pointless unless we actually leave. She states it would also allow us to regain control over our fishing grounds, something very close to the heart of many in this constituency, almost all of whom completely disagree with her and why most of Brixham voted leave.

Clearly she has now taken leave of reality by her failure to deal in facts and I am not alone in despairing of her attitude.

Fact: The hospital in Dartmouth is closing without a promised replacement.

Fact: The country voted leave.

Fact: The scaremongering about voting to leave led by Osborne and Cameron and supported by our MP has totally, utterly and failed to materialise.

Fact: Our MP’s business experience is zero.

Fact: She is incapable of explaining why EEA/EFTA is the best option.

Fact: The committee she chairs is not influential.
