In this week’s Chronicle, we lead on a story about the results of a consultation meeting called by the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, community groups, county and district councillors and NHS bosses and the future of the town’s health centre.

The groups came to a consensus that the original plans will be a followed and a new centre will be built at the top of town.

The picture story is of pupils at St John the Baptist Primary School who were offered the chance to design the card that will be put on sale for the Dartmouth Community Chest charity.
