The propaganda of the anti-wind turbine brigade is becoming absurd. Are they really serious in suggesting tourists will stay away because of a few wind turbines?

The self serving and wordy whines served up on a weekly basis are not only boring, they are plain wrong. The idiots need to visit a few other counties now and then. Wind turbines are in all parts of the country!

It's a tragedy that carbon emissions are invisible. If these ill-informed obsessives could actually see the pollution around them they might acquaint themselves with a few real facts. Anything rather than the pseudo-science they rely on to bolster their nonsensical scaremongering.

Fact: Songbirds have declined by 45 per cent since 1995.

Farm methods haven't change much in the last 20 years, so don't blame them. The only culprit must be climate change. Heard a cuckoo lately? They are down by 50 per cent. Turtle Doves by 95 per cent. Starlings by 53 per cent. The lovely yellow wagtail 45 per cent. Beautiful Lapwings 41 per cent. All these birds are from widely differing habitats, so it's across the board. Cold springs, wet summers, acid rain, habitat decline, it's a no-brainer really, but......

No doubt some idiot will call this change 'natural' but they merely fool themselves. Look at the evidence, not the opinion.

Time for the anti-turbine obsessives to stop ranting and get a real cause, who knows, they might even make a difference.
