A HOLIDAYMAKER is hoping a member of the public can reunite her with her treasured wedding ring she lost during a visit to the South Hams.

Liz Cooper, from Bristol, said: ’I lost my wedding ring last week while on holiday in the area.

’I visited Kingsbridge and Broadsands beach on the days I think it went missing and also Kingswear steam railway, parking at the marina there.

’The reason I have lost it is because I am seven months pregnant and was taking it off and putting it in my wallet when my hands got hot. I think it might have fallen out when I was checking change at one of these places.’

She added: ’I have been told that people in the area are very honest and likely to return the ring if found. The ring is a white gold band.’
