My wife and I had the extreme good fortune to attend the MAD Kids' latest performance on Saturday.

The production in question was Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat. The whole thing from start to finish was an absolute triumph.

The sheer exuberance, enthusiasm and performance was a joy to behold.

It could have been so easy to forget that this is a bunch ordinary kids, giving up their time, along with all adults, helpers and back stage staff.

The singing by all concerned was superb, both soloists and chorus. The choreography outstanding, the audience participation, terrific.

As you can see I am running out of accolades. Suffice it to say it was an utter resounding sucess for which all concerned deserve all the praise they get.

Bring on the next one – I can't wait.

I congratulate Claire Tapper, her team and the MAD Kids for their wonderful production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, which they performed last week at Malborough village hall.

The youngsters aged eight to 18 were slick and well-rehearsed throughout the show. The standing ovation at the end of Friday night's performance was well deserved.

A lovely night out. What great talent we have locally.

I congratulate everyone concerned with the MAD performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

My wife Emma and I attended the Thursday performance and were stunned by the professionalism and skill demonstrated by the young cast.

Special mention must be made of Simone Sullivan Gilbury, narrator,  who guided the audience and excellent cast through the story. And of course, Joe Tapper, Joseph, whose talent once again shone brightly throughout the show.

The production was skilfully handled by Jill Clarke and Nick Tee. Altogether it was a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable production.

Thank you, MAD.
