DARTMOUTH’S Higher Ferry has been out of the water for her annual overhaul.
The programme has seen the vessel on the Kingswear slip for various works, including prow maintenance.
Manager Kerry Southern said everything was progressing well and the work would be followed by a full safety inspection by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for the ferry’s annual certificate of competence.
It is hoped the ferry will be back in service before Monday, January 18.
