Richard White, Above Town, Dartmouth, writes:

More double yellow lines. Restrictions all year round instead of seasonal. No parking where one always parked. All adds up to someone on Devon County Council catering purely for daily visitors to Dartmouth during the short holiday season.

Dartmouth is not some soulless, modern shopping centre but an ancient, cherished town loved by the folk who live here.

With few garages, cars have to be parked on the road be it short or longer periods. For over 50 years I have been a visitor and a resident of Dartmouth and with patience have found a place to park but it's not getting easier.

Give us more parking places, please, not less.

Devon County Council leave things like they used to be. Don't mess with it!
