The Community Chest has launched an appeal for Easter eggs and has already received a dozen. Easter eggs are given to the children of families that are finding times tough and are being supported by the Community Chest.
A spokesman for the Community Chest said:”As we are driving around, delivering a replacement cooker or refrigerator for instance, we give the family an Easter egg, one for each child. They are very well-received and ensure children are not left out at Easter.”
Eggs can be left at the Flavel Church in Dartmouth or on Tuesday or Friday, at the Community Chest market stall in the Old Market.
