A NEW display board is spreading the word of Dartmouth’s floral success story.
The town’s business improvement district has provided the information stand for Dartmouth Green Partnerships at the community greenhouse and potager site on the riverfront.
It contains details about the work DGP does in planting and maintaining floral displays and green spaces around the town.
Dartmouth Green Partnerships chairman Stevie Rogers said: ‘We are very grateful to the Business Improvement District for its generosity in providing the display board which helps raise our profile to residents and visitors.
‘This is vital now that we have become a registered charity and need to raise money to build the new community greenhouse.’
South Hams Council has provided the base and walls for the structure and the pyramid design has planning permission. Drawings are on the display board.
Stevie said raising funds to build the rest of the structure would be the main focus of the group’s efforts in 2016.
