On a very hot, sunny morning, six runners from Dartmouth Ama­teur Athletic Club made up part of the 578 runners who took part in the scenic multi-terrain run which is the Totnes 10k.

The first one back was Chris Pillar in 54.58 in 214th place, followed by Becca Hodge in 55.52 to be placed 230.

Marie Jones was next in 1.01.25 and placed 323, Terry Wallis finished in 1.01.58 and placed 332, Ali McGri­gor was next in 1.09.41 and placed 417 and Lucy Wallace finished in 1.11.53 to be placed 445.

All were pleased with results on such a blistering hot day.
