Commodore David Thompson, in welcoming the members, said that 2012 had been a successful year with good attendances and close racing.
Changes were planned for 2013 to encourage more to participate in club activities. There were plans to purchase a committee boat to enable better courses to be set. In addition there would be class racing for Solos and Lasers in the warmer part of the year.
The popular junior section would have a full programme, as would the ladies group, the Ditsum Belles. There would also be events run by the cruising section. He reminded members that all the events were to be found on the club's website http://www.dittishamsc.org. ">www.dittishamsc.org. ;
