Dartmouth Rowing Club continued its successful start to the season at Wimbleball Regatta last Saturday.
The men's novice coxed four of Luke Sharam, Adam Sharam, Will Atkins, Crispin Brabner and cox Marie Lang won their final in convincing style as they led from start to finish. They rowed very well and gained a commanding lead early to cross the line three lengths clear of Bideford Reds and Bideford Blues.
The men's senior C coxed four of Luke Sharam, Adam Sharam, Crispin Brabner, Shaun Barker and cox Marie Lang raced well in an eight-boat final.
Dartmouth and Falmouth led the field, with Bideford Reds battling for third. Although Dartmouth tried hard to take the lead, they remained second, one length behind Falmouth, with Reds a further half length back.
Shaun Barker and Luke Sharam came second in the senior C double scull. They led all the way but lost out on the line by a canvas to Plymouth.
Jess Middleton came fourth in the J16 sculls final. Shaun Barker came third in senior C sculls.
