The course is drying up nicely now and in some places there's even run on the ball making the course easier to play.

This time last year a friendly match was organised against Churston.
With the onset of league matches due, the idea is to give the players the feel of a more competitive game of golf. It was so popular that the same arrangement was made last Saturday and 10 players made their way over.
The first match involved Mark Lord and Dave Nichols, who were four down after five holes but put together a brilliant fightback to halve their match on the 18th.
Club captain Ian Metchette and Lea Humphries were all square.
David Brooking and Steve Blackie won one up and John Garner and Gordon Kidd won 3-2 and Sean Guy and Simon Higgins lost 6-5, making the final result a win for Dartmouth 3.5 2.5.
A good start to Dartmouth's league campaign and with the right attitude they should do well this year.
Dean Raspin organised a circus for those not playing at Churston. John Wood hit another purple patch and won the back nine with 22 points and overall with a cracking score of 42. Rob Waye won the front nine with 21.
