Always a hugely competitive end-of-summer event at the South Devon Tennis Centre, Warrender beat Jake Freeman 4-1, 4-1 only to subsequently lose a tight match with Harry Lakeman 5-4, 4-1.
Hugh Ryder's passage into the second round saw came at the expense of Exeter's Adam Cotgrave 4-0, 4-1 and the reigning Dartmouth junior champion was to put up a terrific fight against Matyas Metyko before bowing out 4-1, 4-5, 10-6.
Warrender and Ryder teamed up in the 14 and under doubles, but were beaten in the quarter-finals by second seeds Adam Cotgrave and Archie Dudman (Exeter) 6-4, 6-2.
Warrender went on to partner Chloe Sluce to the semi-finals of the mixed doubles, where they gave a great account of themselves in defeat at the hands of second seeds and eventual champions Tom Fenton and Polly Bushby, going down 6-4, 7-5.
In the boys' 18 and under singles Gus Hayward (Kingsbridge) was beaten in the last 16 by Ben Collins 4-0, 4-1.
