What a difference a week makes.

Just when Dartmouth thought they would continue where they left off the previous week, somebody removed their hockey brain in the first half, which was at best very poor.

Panic in defence and unusually bad passing were their undoing as Dart pressured them continually.

Any attacks made by Dartmouth broke down easily and Dart countered at pace, which led to the match's only goal after a fine individual effort.

The second half was much better as Dartmouth upped their game with good work from Alix Vincent, Lisa Hunt, Jamie Rendle and player-of-the-match Sam Webb.

The Dartmouth pressure was relentless, but experienced heads in the Dart midfield and defence refuseed to panic and held firm to earn them this derby victory.

Dartmouth now face an even tougher challenge when they meet high-flying Torbay next week.
