Dartmouth en­dured a disappointing derby day against neighbours Salcombe in their league encounter last weekend.

This season has started off well for the Riv­ersiders, but this was a heavy defeat.

Dartmouth never really got into the game, being 17-0 down at half-time.

They did come back into the match in the second half to at least get on the scoreboard, but Salcombe scored two more tries to secure their first win of the campaign.

Dartmouth remain fourth in the table.
