Ceri Jayes, chairman of the Totnes branch of UKIP, writes:

On learning of MP?Sarah Wollaston’s original decision to opt for Brexit, I read with interest her articles and blog covering the wide range of concerns that she held over the UK’s continued membership of the EU.

It is true that the campaigns for Remain and for Leave have stretched the boundaries of credibility but the basic facts that she gave in your original statement are as true today as they were on the day when she expressed them.

Listening to her statements at the end of last week, it is as if the use of the money saved from EU membership is the only issue at stake in next week’s referendum.

I and countless other members of the constituency are  wondering if her decision is that of someone thinking of her own future rather than the future direction of our country.
