youngsters have been earning praise for their work on an energy reduction project which saw them design their own 'wind cars'.
The Year 1 to Year 8 pupils from Dartmouth Academy have also been raising awareness of climate change which involved taking part in a high profile Exeter debate.
They looked at how electric cars work and designed their own – with the help of a totally electric Nissan Leaf, brought in specially; wrote and directed films promoting lowering energy use; created 'wind cars'; and examined how best to engineer means of transport through renewable energy.
