Film maker Les Veale organised a three-school climate change event last week.

It included a screening of a 5 minute (narrative) short film called Hot Air, which featured the river Dart and look at the potential outcome of climate change for future generations.

Springwatch presenter Gillian Burke joined them via the internet for a Q&A session.

The schools involved were Dartmouth Academy, Churston Ferres Grammar and King Edward VI Community College in Totnes which form a triangle around the Dart and the event was held at KEVICCS.

Around 150 year 9 pupils went along and the host of the event was Liam Collings, Head of Humanities and Geography at KEVICCS with Jo Hadley at Churston and Hettie Eagleton at Dartmouth.
