Several weeks ago, while walking Lar, my greyhound, I fell over him and broke my hip.

I would like to thank two young men from the leisure centre who called an ambulance and stayed with me until the paramedics, who were very gentle and kind, arrived.

A big thank you also to the young boys who came out of the skate park to try to help me.

Torbay medical staff were very good to me.

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful treatment and care that I received at Dartmouth hospital.
